Does anyone have a yummy recipe for sauteed cabbage? I have onions, if needed, and paprika and olive oil and salt. Do I need anything else? Method?

Chop and fry the onions.
Add chopped cabbage, fry.
If it starts to brown add a little water.
Add salt and pepper.
Cover and leave to cook until the cabbage is soft.

Enjoy!

Sautee cabbage and onion (1 onion to a bag-1 lb of cabbage) for about 45 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp pepper.

Add 1/2 lb pasta for cabbage and noodles

I think I bought noodles for this but I am not sure I want the extra starch. So I will try and make it without. I'd better hop to it... it's getting late.

Okay, thanks ladies. Cabbage is shredded, onion is sliced and now I guess I just have to wait for the whole thing to wilt.

The way I've done it was add salt, sugar, black pepper and let it cook on a low flame for a long time.

I just finished washing the wok, so I guess the cabbage cooked for around 3/4 hour. I added just salt and paprika and it's very yummy. Maybe next time I'll play around with it more. For now, thanks to everyone who responded.
Next challenge: mushrooms. Any quickie good ideas for cooking them? That's for tomorrow....

I blend the cabbage with bow-ties too... the pure silk ones with the red and white polka dots.. Cherry

On special occasions I would blend 'em with pasta bow-ties.
