my husband put the chulant on on thursday night at like midnight it is now friday morning and I realise it was not on at the power point:(
do you think I have to throw it out?

Does it have raw/undercooked meat or kishka that contains raw eggs? Then I'd definitely ditch it.
If it's vegetarian, no meat, just beans/barleys/potatoes whatever, then I'd keep and cook
assuming the liquid is not sour/the pot does not smell foul.

If you have meat in it, was it frozen when you "put up" the cholent (at midnight)? If yes, I'd say for sure no problem. If not, I'm not sure.
