Where is the best price to get the Turkey?
I love Thanksgiving and we will be about 20 around the table, but...$2.99lb is a little high... (Non kosher is 47cents
Does anyone know where we can get a good price?
Thanks a lot!!

What hashgacha do you keep for meet? Any specific shechita? Laos what area do you live in?
I got mine in baltimore for 2.99 a pound and I was pretty thrilled. That being said my requirement list was pretty lengthy - oragnic/free range/glatt/lubavitch shechita/on the smaller side (I'd rather have 2 small than one big).

Mine was free, thanks to the Giant turkey promotion. They had Empire turkeys included. (This was Giant-PA, I don't know if Giant-MD did it. They're separate divisions of the same company.)
(Frozen only, though.)
If you're in a Jewish area see if the regular supermarkets have put Empire on sale.

I'm in a large OOT Jewish community and lately all the frozen turkeys are Aarons (which we do not use). I wish they'd have Empire regularly. I can get fresh Empire turkeys (which are a lot more expensive) at the local kosher supermarket, but frozen stuff all seems to be Aarons. The local regular supermarket does have a $10 off coupon on frozen turkeys this week and they're honoring it on kosher ones too.

Outside of Boston I found $1.49!! I don't remember ever seeing this low on turkey before. Usual price was $2.99.
Good luck!
