I need ideas for what to serve at Shaloshudis...and not just leftovers from other meals..and not patchke salads either! thanks!
so far I have:
Tuna
Israeli salad
Potato bourekas

I usually make:
tuna pinwheels with mayo dill sauce for dipping
guacomole
cucumber salad
sometimes:
egg salad
lettuce salad
coleslaw or cabbage salad
cheesecake (in the winter)
gefilte fish
dips and salatim
crackers and chummus

I like to put out for the main course....
Dips
Crackers
Veg sticks
Lasagne - warm on hotplate
Salads - incl a warm salad e.g. roasted veg salad
Then just fruit and a cake for dessert.

dunno about you but during the winter I dont need much for shalos seudos... now melava malks is another story. one or two salads and some dip and challa usually tide me over
other common things
deviled eggs or egg salad
melons or fruit
fish
