My 2 year old son has a cold for the longest time, sometimes worse sometimes better. I wanted to know if there are any vitamins that I can give him or somthing.

I had the same thing. I hate the daycare winter chronic cold. My 2 and 3 year old have had it since October. So, on the advice of a neighbor, I went to the health food store, and bought Sambucus. Been giving it religously, and have seen zero results. Would love to hear some other idea.

He should be on vitamin C with patothenic acid.
A multi vitamin is also important.
We use liquid versions of both from Dynamic Health. They taste pretty good.

Now I've started hearing mixed reviews about Vitamin C, but from what I have heard it would be a good idea to get your kid on a probiotic (refrigerated from the health food store) and some Vitamin D (as your doc for recommended dose. There are different opinions as to what is too much). Try not to go overboard with the dairy- you may want a calcium supplement if you feel he needs it with cutting down dairy.
