So I used to think I hated it. Recently I have realized if it has a sauce to cut the sweetness I don't mind it so much. Last week I used salsa. Can anyone give me some more ideas? Thanks so much!

My friend brushes BBQ sauce on individual slices and broils it.
I have fried breaded slices and served with duck sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
Recently I made the following:
Julienne red, orange, yellow peppers, carrots, zucchini, slice up purple onions and saute in olive oil until tender-crisp. Add a can or 2 of tomato sauce (or tomato paste + water), salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, a little sugar, and sweet chili sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Then slice gefilte fish and place in a single layer in a pan. Pour sauce on top and bake for 30-40 min. (You can also add the slices straight to the pan if you have room and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Serve warm.

wasabi mayonnaise. I don't like the storebought one as it's a bit sweet. I make wasabi from powder (only a small amount will do), and mix into regular mayo, maybe add a drop or so of soya sauce and lemon juice.

I make a gefilte fish kugel - defrost 2 loaves and mix with 2 eggs, 2 T oil, shake of pepper, handful of bread crumbs, 1 grated onion, and 3 grated carrots. Bake at 400 for an hour. It's pretty for company in a bundt pan, but I do 9x13 and cut squares. It's yum and not fishy.
Also, slice and coat with seasoned bread crumbs, then bake.
Or pour a jar of tomato sauce over frozen loaf and then bake. Salsa works, too.

I take the loaf, coat in mayo, coat in seasoned cornflake crumbs & bake covered. I'm ready for a change (every week it's the same thing!) but my family want it like this. It IS really good!

similar to morahsara's I defrost the fish just enough to cut. Then cut fish, dip in egg, then in bread crumbs. Bake at 375 for 30 min or so. You can serve with tomato sauce.Shopmiami49's sauce recipe sounds like it would go great. I keep the sauce warm by boiling before Shabbos and putting it on the blech.
