Do you get used to the cold or heat? Someone from England came to visit and she said the heat and humidity is unbearable, how can I stand it. I probably could because I'm from NY and it's also horrible there. I can't stand it, but what can you do?? When I used to wait with my dd for her bus, there was this mother who was from Maine or somewhere in New England and she used to say, the cold is nothing to her because it gets much colder from where she was from. I'm sorry, but the cold went through the bones, how can you??
