I'm not as worried about the allergies as about if it sticks to the roof of his mouth, if he'll know how not to choke ch'v.

I gave my kid peanut butter by seven months. After eating some pieces of the bread I gave her a drink. I dont think the kid would choke if you make sure to keep giving a drink,

One of my favourite snacks to eat is banana with peanut butter, so when I was eating it around my baby when he was 9 months old, he really wanted to try it too, so I gave him a bit and he loved it. As long as you start with a tiny amount, there shouldn't be any choking.

My doctor said *NEVER* before 12 months for sure. Ask your pediatrician! I know an 18 month old who r'l died from choking on bread + peanut butter...I'd be cautious...

thanks everyone. My ds is almost a year and a half but is a bit delayed in things like this. I tried it and he took two bites and then starting coughing a bit and spitting it out. He's not ready. Gonna try again in a month or two.
