my other kids were sleeping thru the nite by about 6 weeks, so I'm really not used to this at all. dd is capable of going 7-8 hours without nursing; but she always wakes up at 2-3am to eat, and THEN starts her 7 hours. I tried waking her up at 1:30 to nurse, hoping to slowly push back the time but she still woke up at 3. Last nite I let her cry for over an hour (trying to soothe her every 5-10 minutes) until at 4:15 I gave up and had dh hold her, calm her down, and she went back to sleep in the swing.
any and all advice welcome!

All I can say is I feel your pain. Were going through the exact same thing. DD is almost 5 months, and was doing a nice 7 hrs from 930-430 up until she turned 4 months, when everything just went up in flames. Its like everything I taught her went out the window! She got a cold, so that lasted 3 weeks and FINALLLY the beginnning of this week started looking promising..7.8.9 hours, until BOOM yesterday had fever adn got a cold again!!!!!!
AAAHHHH! Last nighjt woke up every 2 hours!!! Spoke to DR and said u have to stop feeding in the middle of the night...so even thgh nebach she's sick, im dowing it slowly... like less minutes each night..
my advice to u(and to myself!!) FERBERIZE!!!! let them cry, its the only way
