Im looking for ideas of fun activities to do this summer with a 2 and 4 year old in NYC. Both indoor and outdoor suggestions in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn would be great. So far I thought of the Queens Zoo, Queens farm, beach, central park, aquarium, coney island, jewish childrens museum, and library. If anyone has any other ideas to add to the list, please do so! Thanks.

Kids Gym in BP.
I thought it was pretty nerdy the first time I saw it, but the little ones like it better than the other places (up to age 6). $6 for 1-1/2 hours.

A few:

MTA transit museum in Downtown Brooklyn,
Staten Island- Childrens Musuem, zoo, Clove lake park, take ferry (free!) to Battery Park
Central Park- zoo, carousel, there is a new amusement park there as well for kids.
In Brooklyn -Adventurers (formerly Nellie Bly) Rides- have many geared to small children
Many playgrounds/parks have sprinklers on.

A really good web site is mommypoppins.com
(also has listing of free places)
