hi my youngest will be 3 in a few days, bh. I love her to death, she is so adorable. however she has a severe speech delay. in all other areas shes average and even above average, bh shes understanding much better now , and has more words in her vocabulary, but she speaks as if she just turned 2. she has been with early intervention till now, and now we are working with the child study team to continue her services with the board of ed that will probably take place in the public school so she can receive maximum services.
was wondering if any of you mothers out there experienced this or is experiencing this with any of your children. I need chizuk here, and wants to know if anyone used other services besides for speech and language therapy? she was also seen twice by a developmental pediatrician and an ent, are there any other specialists that are recommended she see?

It sounds like you are really on the ball. My niece was a very late talker (like five). With lots of therapy, her speech is totally on par with kids her age now.
Hatzlacha rabbah!
