Is it weird to wear your wedding ring on a necklace? I gained some weight and my ring is a bit tight for now...

I forgot to take my rings off when I was making challah, and then I washed the dishes.
The combination of yeast, gross water and moisture trapped under the metal gave me a horrible rash. I had to get a cream to put on it for three weeks, and I couldn't wear my rings the whole time. I wore them on a chain because I really liked having them close to me. I just got married recently, and I wasn't ready to be apart from them! It was comforting to have them close to me.

Yes, you can have the ring reshanked, but you can't keep making it bigger and smaller. It costs money and it's bad for the ring.

Its not weird but aren't you afraid you will lose it easily that way if the chain breaks or catches.
