Sitting by a Simchah recently someone was taking from a salad on the table with the fork that she ate her entree' with (I'm almost sure that it was the fork she'd eaten with and not a clean one although I'm trying to be l'kaf zchus). I was like UGH!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes . Where's basic manners or common sense??

Oh!!! My mother has a woman in her shul like that. She slways takes from the kiddush with her own fork. It drives everyone crazy. They try to put forks in the salads as soon as they are put out on the table. It is really gross!

If you think that's disgusting, I can't even eat coleslaw after what I saw. I was at my cousins wedding over 11 years, and someone had mentioned at the table that the coleslaw is pretty good. A lady next to her took the spoon from the coleslaw plate tasted it and PUT THE SPOON BACK!! Puke Puke DISGUSTING!!!

Since then, I can't eat coleslaw, let alone look at it!! yuck!!

I have my own addition to this topic People who serve food on a table and neglect to put serving utensils in!!!!! Do you WANT all your guests to use their own forks?? ITs disgusting. Whoever does this- PLEASE PLEASE make a conscious effort to put serving utensils in ALL the food you serve. That means : deli platters, kugels, salads, pickles... EVERYTHING.
Thank you!
