Has anyone had this problem?
We have a pretty bad dryer (but it could be worse, we could not have one). Someone came to look at it a few months ago, and explained to us that the reason it takes FOREVER (2-3 hours) to dry a load is because it's on a low voltage power line, and that our apartment (because our landlord never bothered to install one), does not have the proper higher voltage line for a dryer.
So I make do with putting in small loads, and everything still comes out super wrinkled because it's been in there forever.
Is there a way to prevent the clothes from getting twisted up? DH's shirt sleeves get all rolled up and don't dry, not to mention bedding, tablecloths and towels. We have enough problems with the dryer, I shouldn't also need to take everything out every half hour and untwist them in order for the laundry to dry!

I have had this happen to me when I've had too small of a load. Then the clothes haven't dried properly and come our super wrinkly. I tried laying the clothes flat in the dryer instead of just putting them in there all mixed up and have worked for me. If you're not doing this already, try it! Let me know if it works for you.

Do you have someplace to hang the larger stuff? I put DH's shirts on hangers and hang them on a rod. Now I have room in the basement, but I used to do it over the shower curtain rod in the bathroom. I also have a line in the basement for tablecloths, because I find that those really bunch up and take forever to dry.
