I remember seeing this recipe this summer in Binah and wanting to make it, but didn't have the ingredients. The Binah is long gone, I have too many tomatoes in my fridge, and want something to break the fast. If you have this recipe can you PM it to me please?
It had tomatoes and red pepper that you roast and then puree into a soup, to be eaten at room temperature. Don't remember what else. It was in an issue together with another cold soup or two.

I am also interested in the recipe, I have it, but it doesn't call for any water. should I add water to it?
ROASTED TOMATO AND SWEET PEPPER SOUP (Binah)
6 beefsteak tomatoes, cut in half
2 red peppers, cut in half and seeded
1 large onion, peeled and halved
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (use less or more, to taste)
5 cloves garlic, peeled
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1 tablespoon basil
½ teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray surface of baking sheet.
Place all vegetables and garlic cloves on cookie sheet, cut side down. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and cumin. Place in oven and roast until softened (approximately 25 minutes).
Remove vegetables from oven and let cool slightly. Place everything, including sugar, into blender and puree until smooth.
