I just bought a new cashmere sweater its a little big on me, can I take I take it in ? did any of you have such alterations done is it expensive please respond!!!!

You need to look for and find a seamstress with a special machine for knits.
It can be done. (You can also wash it and it will surely shrink, but that is dangerous!)
