I was in the kosher store today and noticed the beef fry. Does anyone use it? What's it like? Does it need cooking?

It's immitation bacon. Fry until crispy. Or use to wrap other foods before frying.
My brother likes it very much.

Do non-Jews ever eat it? or is it just for people who can't have bacon?
