My ds is 5 months old and yesterday he started throwing up and had fever. I took him to the doctor who told me that he has an ear infection and prescribed medicine. last night ds barely wanted to eat and today he skipped 2 feedings and just keeps falling asleep whenever I put him down. Should I call the doctor or just assume this is his body's way of fighting the sickness?

It may be that he is just not feeling well, but I would definitely take a 5 month old back to the dr. if s/he is lethargic. Refuah Shelaima!

Not eating could be a sign that something is wrong. Take him to the doctor ASAP.

I would definitely have a lethargic baby checked out ASAP, if it doesn't improve soon I would even go to the ER. Do you think he may be dehydrated?

I would also check out again if he is really lethargic

is he crying with tears? It's very important that he's not dehydrated
