do you wash your rags/shmattes separately?
or do you wash it together with towels, sheets...
I wash both on 60 was just wondering if it's gross to wash all together or if it boils so hot that it doesnt matter.
WDYT? thanx

I wash them seperately. It's too gross for me to wash them all together.

I wash them together on 60. They come out clean so I can't see the issue. If they weren't all coming out clean I would see the issue.

Assuming they're averagely dirty, I wash them together - that's what washers are for- you put in dirty stuff and they're supposed to come out clean. If I used them to clean something really yucky, I'd probably wash them separately.

Is 'washing on 60' an Israeli term? I'm not familiar with it.
I wash rags separately on hot. They are too gross and I don't think all the odor always goes away so I don't want to contaminate my other laundry.

It is an European/Israeli term I guess. It means washing on hot, but not a boiling wash. We were referring to the temperature (Celsius).

I wash them together. Many times I will do a rinse first, then wash them on boiling hot (90 in Israeli/European/Australian/umm-the-whole-rest-of-the-world terms). If they haven't been sitting around too long, just washing on 60 is good ("hot" for American machines).

I wash em all together on hot.
If the rag is really dirty, its goes into the wastebasket.
Although if I would have enough dirty rags (am I the only one who calls it a shmatte?) for a separate load, I would do that.

wash them seperately. rags are sometimes really gross whereas towels are not. but I guess each to their own.depends on household etc.

Do you wash socks separately?
Do you wash underwear separately?
I know people that make ten different types of loads.
I do whites, light colors together, then whites with bleach separately.
Blacks and darks go together.
Towels go on their own. Or together with bathrobes or any terry items.
Shmattes get washed in a small load separately as they have been used with all kinds of chemicals, and because they are really dirtier than the rest of the stuff.

Definitely separately and many times just toss in wastebasket, and I then find other old clothing to use as rags
