I'm always looking for things to do (and people to do them with) on Sundays -- I'd love to find other moms in my boat, basically with access to a car, little kids and an otherwise occupied husband (or none at all) and interested in doing things. There are loads of things going on in NYC and if people don't mind driving half hour or so we can meet in different boros in museums, parks, maybe people's houses? Maybe we could do something one or two sundays a month if it takes off, even one or two other moms would be fun Smile

Just throwing out ideas, anyone interested? Write ideas here or PM me.

Im interested. I have a car and I have my 4 youngest with me on sundays. My baby is 6 weeks old so it will be a little while till I am really getting out though. But soon I hope to be getting out more.

Hey guys, I just saw this (initially no one responded) - I have a 4 year old girl and an almost 3 year old boy. I live in Far Rockaway but would be fine driving anywhere within an hour (basically anywhere in NYC, and some places in LI).

What about you guys? Should I PM people if theyd be more comfy doing this offline?

I know next week the Queens Musuem of Art is having its free family Sunday which is just lovely for families and kids -- would love to have company Smile

ooh keep me in the loop! my husband is around some sundays, but not all. I am always up for new adventures, especially if they are cheap! I live in Queens, have a car, and a 5 yo girl and 3 yo boy. fun!!

Planning on going to the Queens Musuem of Art Family Sundays tomorrow. Its between 1 and 4 and very fun, creative and kid friendly. Oh, and free (suggested donation). My 4 year old loved it last time and even my 2 year old did OK.

If anyone else wants to come and meet me, let me know Smile
