A blue towel ended up in a load of whites and I now have 2 formerly white shirts that have a slight blue tinge. What can I do? Would bleach work?

won't really help you but here is my experiences, I had a aqua blue new delecate pajama pants (was supposed to be washed w/vinegar in cold water separately first time) fall into a huge white load. mine and dh's undergarments all turned aqua blue....
after 2 washes w/bleach and another 2 washes with basic g, I made a trip to the dry goods store the next morning...
