thats so wierd, I just noticed mine is coming apart too, but mine is 4 yrs old so I guess I am not so surprised, can I jsut sew it bak myself?

how are you washing the shaitel? alot of times people who wash thier own shaitels cause damage by doing it improperly. A shaitel should always be washed on a canvas head for best results.
