recipe anyone? its like chummus with meat and onions on top I want to make it today ive seen it in resturants

no exact recipe, but this is what I'd assume.
fry onions, add chopped meat, a bay leaf (remember to take out), allspice, onion, garlic powder, maybe a LITTLE cumin. salt and pepper to taste.
let cook mixing occasionally.
spread chummus on a plate, and then just add some meat on top. Voila!
thats the recipe for my meat bourekas- I never really measure, sorry

thanks so much! I needed to make supper already so I basically did garlic powder, pepper and ihad ortega taco seasoning I didn't use alot mixed all that with ground meat onions and mushrooms on top of chummous
yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The authentic recipe calls for lamb cut into small pieces, not quite ground meat. You marinate meat with small amount of lemon juice, oil, paprika, cumin, salt. You sautee chopped onion till soft, add meat and keep on sauteeing till meat is cooked and onions nearly caramelised. Add toasted pine nuts as an option.
