I need a new wardrobe or at least 2-3 new outfits to spruce up what I already have. I have no clue where to go shopping anymore, wherever I look they have these poncho type things that I HATE. I need some trendy stuff that I won't cry about when I lose 50 pounds!

I bought this terrific suit in August for Tishrei that was a tweed jacket that zipped with zipper pockets and leather trim ands a short balck skirtt with leather sides. I wear it with a lime green shell, ivory shell, black shell... It changes the look everytime.

Last week I bought a short black stretch skirt at Macy's Woman on sale for $16.99
The skirt was made in three panels and it looks great with black boots!

You will always find apprpriate clothing in Nordstroms Woman but if it's full price there are no bargains. They will have BIG sales next week.
Also, AUGUST is the BEST time to shop Nordstroms PRE Anniversary sale.

All over sequins? For a weekday? I vote no. Not even for Shabbat unless there's a simcha.

For lower-priced options, try Kohls, Target and Dress Barn.

With a cami underneath it:

A great, inexpensive, up to date lace skirt:

Or really cute pleated skirt

I may need this sweater myself

Comfy looking dresses

I bought this last year, and love it

Barbara, I guess it depends on the neighborhood. In bnm's area, it would definitely be appropriate for dressy weekday or possibly Shabbos. In your area, we'll save it for a bigger occasion.
