Is there any fool proof methods? I can't have it leave any stain and I need to make sure no smell stays there. It's still a little wet now. What can I do? Please help! Thank you!

I would sprinkle on baking soda, rub it in, and then vacuum it.

yup. pour on lots of baking soda, don't just sprinkle. it works wonders. if the pish is freshly there, you can pour a lot on, wait till the urine is absorbed into the baking soda, then vacuum.

There is a spray you can get at WalMart, etc. It's for "pet stains" but it works great for pish. I always have a bottle in the house. You spray it on the carpet, let it sit, then wipe with a wet cloth.

The baking soda can't stain the carpet in any way right? It just vacuums right off?

pour a mound of baking soda do not sprinkle ... you need it to absorb the pee ... but I would do this after I take a towel with a bit of soap & water to absorb whatever you can first ... then go for the baking soda & leave it there till the baking soda feels wet ... vacuum and if any odor is left behind - pour more baking soda till it's all absorbed
