My 4 year old has been waking up from nightmares every single night for the last few weeks. He is now even scared to go to sleep because he doesn't want to have a night mare and he tries to sleep in my bed. He is my firstborn so I'm not sure if this is normal or does it reflect on something going on his life? Advice would be more than welcome.
TIA

Intestinal worms causes bad dreams, as does upset stomach. You could buy acidophlis for kids, as a start. I hope it is as easy as this.
Only you can guess whether this is an emotional thing. What is going on in his life that would cause so much stress? Have you asked him to tell you his dreams? Sometimes they are symbolic for what is worrying a person.

His dreams are about monsters chasing him and eating him. There is nothing going on, that I know of, that should cause him to have night mares.
