from Hershe'le
1/2 cup crisco
1-1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp almond extract - [who has that - I put in vanilla]
beat then add
2-1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup hershe'le cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
mix then add 1 cup chopped almonds
shape into 2 biscotti looking loaves
bake 350° for 30 minutes
let cool - slice bake again [hence biscotti is for twice baked] for 15 minutes [or 9 on each side - I did not listen]
glaze with some chocolate ganache & eat

try to save some for other people or at least wipe the crumbs & chocolate off your face
& you'll need a cup of coffee

Sounds yum. Can I use margarine in place of crisco?
