I went to 5 stores for fish food. They all had dog, cat, and bird food, but no fish food. One guy told me to get it in petland. Is there no place else in midwood that would have it???? What can I feed goldfish besides fish food?

Where did you buy the fish? Usually stores that sell goldfish sell fishfood.

I didn't buy them. My sister got it from a carnival, but since she doesn't live here, she left them with me. Then again, I'm leaving soon and it won't be my responsibility, but I need to try for now.

Try a non-Jewish grocery store. Also many super Walmarts have it.

My kids came home one evening with carnival fish and the frum stores didn't carry it. I got the fish food from a Spanish supermarket.

I fed them matza, but they didn't touch it. One of my kids threw in croutons Confused and they didn't touch that either.

There's a cvs on kings hwy and flatbush, right? I don't have a car and I don't feel like going there.

There's no walmart, let along a super walmart in the midwood section of brookyn Smile . I only looked in non-jewish stores. I checked ave m and j near me.

If you have time to wait for an order, you can buy on amazon.
If you're coming to bp I can give you some. We have food but no fish at the moment.
There is also a good pet store on 18th and 64th ish. A fish store on 8th ave and 58th ish. Pathmark sells it too!

I thought you were in Argentina. I had no idea how to advise you. But you're in Brooklyn? There's no goldfish food in Brooklyn??? How can that possibly be? Any old pet store in the US should have fish food for goldfish, I would think. Just look in the phone book.

I'm worried about your fishies, that they will get food to eat and not starve!

I give my goldfish a few bread crumbs every other day. seems to have survived so far.

Dh doesn't even let me go buy fish food he thinks the fish will die any second and I shouldn't get attached LOL (I love fish!).

That's what you would think, but all the stores I went to, nothing. I'll get on kings hwy today, iy'h. I'm not near any pet stores, I don't have a car, and I have a bunch of kids with me, so it's not that easy.
