so this shreded potatoes adn meat layered idea, would it work to cook it before shabos, then put it on the hotplate or blech instead of a crockpot.??? I dont have a crockpot...

I would also like an explanation on this, thanks! | I'm not sure how to do it on the plata (I use mine for warming up food), but if you usually cook your cholent on the plata then you can just layer like realeez and put up as usual.
