Dear Friends:
Rabbi Maurice Lamm (of Los Angeles and Yeshiva University), author of
many great books including The Power of Hope and The Jewish Way in Death
and Mourning is critically ill. He needs your prayers now, more than
ever, in these yomim noraim. Please forward this to anyone whose prayers
can help (that means everyone you know). Five weeks ago, he had a heart
attack (not his first). For a short time, he was off the critical list,
but at this time is on it once again. This great scholar and kind
gentleman is now in a New York hospital with his wife, children and
grandchildren, and under excellent medical care. What is needed to tip
the scales in his favor so that he can receive a refuah shlema, a
complete speedy recovery, is OUR prayers. Please add Moshe ben Perel to
your own list of names and ask your shul to speak his name as well.
Communication to Rebbitzen Lamm would be best through the mail or email,
and not by phone, as she is only home in the late evening and needs to
rest before returning to the hospital each day. May you be blessed with
health and love inscribed in the Book of Life. And remember, please
forward this.
