What's your timeline on this. I have a cat-loving friend (not me; my eyes are swelling shut reading this thread), but she's away for a few days, so I won't be speaking to her until the end of the week.

To the person who posted and then deleted, is your relative not interested?
I am getting more desperate every day. So many families had to give up their pets when they lost their homes because of Sandy. Foster homes for pets are full. Charities are not accepting any pets from the general public. And A and C are so socialized, so domestic, they need to be with a family!

June 1st but someone might foster them for pay until June 12th.
I have stopped sleeping, my mind is racing. I keep having visions of my clean, proper girlies in awful conditions.

I would totally foster them for you if I lived near you. (but not keep them forever...) we fostered a cat recently and the kids loved it. iyh we will probably do it again at some point. Probably in winter since we were not allowed to let the cat outside and that is really hard to do in summer.
Sorry, sounds awful to have to give them up.

I fostered 2 kitties for 4 months as well ... someone abandoned them and the girly got injured so I felt she needed to be safe inside ...
torture to my daughter's kitties as they did not get along at all ...
