I work full time and have a full time cleaning lady who does all my laundry. I'm noticing that my whites are turning gray and she doesn't separate the laundry correctly. I would like to give her a set of rules to follow but since I am not that great at laundry I'd appreciate some tips. Thanks.

could you get one of those separated baskets?
I have one that has four baskets and we separate our laundry as we put it in...
Or you could just tell her anything that is plain white (show her examples of shirts, underwear etc) you should put alone etc.
Draw up a list of how you like to separate your laundry and what load each color goes on with which detergents, conditioner and bleach.

you separate the laundry the way you want it to be washed ... then tell her what type of detergents you wish to be used for each basket type ...
categories are usually as follows:
whites [add bleach & baking soda]
lights
darks
delicates
bed sheets
towels
