Where is it that it is hard to appliqué? Could you add a few appliques in different places to disguise the weird placement?

near the shoulder seam or the cuff? if it's closer to the cuff, try gathering it up a bit. if that doesn't work and it's the right kind of dress, you might want to make more bleach splatters Smile

Feeling extra crafty? http://www.stencilrevolution.c.....uide/

I've done this with stained t-shirts, and it looks awesome. It's actually way easier than it looks, especially if you use lace doilies instead of cutting your own stencils. You can sew some sparkly beads into the design when you're done, and it will look like a designer original!

My fave solution to bleach spotting is to make the whole thing a "splatter" pattern. Put bleach in a spray bottle and spritz all over, leave a few seconds and immediately rinse fiercely. But this is definitely a sporty look, not for a Shabbos dress.

Sure does!
I'm lazy, so I'd do the splatter thing, but you could buy wide grosgrain ribbon in one or both of the other two colors and sew a chevron of ribbon from the center front neckline outward to the side seams, covering the spots in the process.

the ribbon actually sounds like it would look really good, but I dont have the time to start sewing all that stuff on and im def not paying to have it done. maybe ill try the bleach thing. do you think clorox spray, as in the cleaning stuff would work?

You may risk ruining the entire dress with the bleach splattering. Just saying...

after looking at the dress, and since it looks t-shirty I would go for a tie-dye type of colour splash

not quite sure the ribbons would work out

but I would first try to find a marker that is the same colour to fill it in ... your best bet ... besides - she's not getting married in it ... or as they say in yiddish 'tzi vett nitt shatten tzu dem shidduch'

go with the appliques. the first stain is not in such an awkward place. and if you add some appliques in other places too, you can get away with an applique over the second stain as well.

If OP won't sew on a ribbon, she won't sew on appliques either. Go with the Clorox spray. It's not good for the fabric, but get real: this is a T-shirt dress for a little girl, not an heirloom silk-and-pearl bridal gown. and it's already ruined. The original bleach spots will eventually disintegrate, anyway, so adding some more bleach spots to match won't significantly shorten the garment's lifespan. Just rinse off the bleach the moment you get the splatter look you like.

I buy iron on appliques only.

Go with the first one. Color looks like a match.
