Is like life

I dunno what a haiku is I guess.
I know the one from Matilda by heart.

An epicure dining in Crüe
Found a rather large mouse in his stew
Cried the waiter,
Don't shout
And wave it about
Or the rest will be wanting one too!

5 7 5. There's also a longer form with more syllables, can't remember the counts on that one.

I did do a haiku above, my first attempt!
