Whisk together 2 Tbsp. oil, 2 Tbsp. water, 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Add 2 Tbsp. cocoa and a pinch of salt, and mix well.
Add 4 Tbsp. (1/4 cup) sugar, mix well.
Add 4 Tbsp. (1/4 cup) flour and mix well.

Yup, I also have to remind myself how much sugar is in it when I get frequent cravings!
I've never tried freezing it, honestly. I assume it would work, but this is usually my go to idea when I need a sugar fix now.
I also like that this is something my older kids can make by themselves for a special treat without having to deal with the oven or a mixer.
I was in a rush before and forgot to mention that you can experiment with the timing a bit. If you cook it for shorter you can end up with a runny center, restaurant style, while a longer time will get you a fully solid brownie.
I like the peanut butter idea -- I'm going to try that next time!

This recipe is super easy to just make half of it. I wonder what it would be like with applesauce.
