I'm just curious as to why. What's the issue with repackaged meat?

Go to an actual butcher store, not a supermarket.
Like Satmar Meats on J.
1211 Avenue J, Brooklyn, NY 11230
(347) 221-0371
I am sure there are other butchers in Flatbush.

Go to a butcher that only sells meat/chicken of their own hashgacha.
Like Belz and Satmar in Boro Park.

Isn't it more expensive directly from the butcher?

Well yes. But if you're looking for meat that hasn't been repackaged I guess you cannot have it all.
Are you OP btw?

Most supermarkets and butcher shops get meat and chicken in bulk and package it themselves.

Now that I am thinking about it, I think that these types of establishments get their deliveries in bulk and package themselves as well, but the difference I guess is that they are getting it directly from their very own slaughterhouse without any middle men in between.
