My DSs are going as Star Wars characters for Purim. My little toddler is going to be an Ewok (I almost died of cuteness when I saw this costume).
My 5 yr old is really into all things Star Wars (without actually ever seeing the movies lol), so I got him an Aneken Jedi costume. He's pretty psyched!
I may go as Princess Leia and Dh as Luke, we'll see...
I would love to keep the M.M. this theme too - so far my only idea is long lollipops as light sabers. Maybe something just stam "star" themed? Maybe throw in some Warheads? What do you think?

Lame but candy stars, sour candy stars, star-shaped cookies.
(If this were for grownups I'd suggest some sort of beverage as the bar scene is one of the only things I remember from the original trilogy. That and "Shut up, kid, or else you're gonna float home.")

bumping!
New poster here. I actually know nothing about star wars (ok I know about the death star) but my kids want to do it.
Any other suggestions for m"m?

We did it one year. We dipped pretzels in colored chocolates for light sabers. We had star wars fruit by the foot. I'll try to find a picture for the other stuff because I don't remember!
We put everything in small tins from the x-mas tree shop that were star wars theme.
I just remembered, we added a small water bottle and replaced the bottle with a star wars tag and then we added hans rolos. we also had a cupcake in star wars baking cups.
