Does anyone here watch the new COSMOS series?
My husband and I watched the original with Carl Sagan and we were excited when it returned last week hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson. He is an astrophysicist and is also the director of the Hayden Planetarium in NY. My daughter has always been interested in space and science in general and it has become our new weekly family event to watch the show together. The special effects are amazing, but the way that he presents the science makes it easy to understand for the common man (or woman, or child!)
BTW I posted this here instead of the entertainment board because I figured this might lead to an interesting discussion regarding science.
