School vacation before pesach

when does ure child start vacation and what school, before pesach??

(I don't mean boys yeshivas that don't have any time off)

Last day of school is always 5 Nissan...though I heard they *might* change it next year.

No, it was 6 Nissan. They made it a day earlier when they started to give less summer vacation (which is going back this year). - Doesn't matter cause 5 is Shabbat anyway. Sunday is the first day of vacation At wits end

Thank Goodness our yishuv has a kaytana for kids in gan ages and a teenager is doing one for kitot 1 - 4. My daughter would go batty bored with nothing to do if not for the kaytana. I think its tooooo much vacation before pesach here.

My kids outgrew those kaytanot and they basically entertain themselves (and help) - BUT they have to eat so much that week. They're even willing to do the cooking but who wants them making meals in the kitchen.

Bnei Akiva takes the kids for 2 days - last year it was great - they went on W-Th. They came home my Besari was KLP and I had made kugels and other stuff. This year they're going M-T. I'm going to have to feed them W-Th Crying
