Can I refrigerate a badge of challah dough overnight before braiding it?
I'm too tired to braid and bake now but don't want to ruin the dough either.

Yes I do keep in fridge, but make sure you have enough room as my dough sometimes rises in the fridge too.

You can refridgerate it overnight. Just make sure that you take it out early enough for the dough to become room temp before you start braiding. (I sometimes push the dough down a bit, cover it and let it rise while it warms up.) though that depends on how long the dough rose already- u don't want it tasting like yeast!

Just don't let it rise for too long before putting it in the fridge! I did that once and it overflowed all over my fridge, and tasted horrible.
