Funny how things work. In my youth, that look meant you were growing your bangs out. It was considered gauche, everyone hated it, complained that they had to push it out of their face all the time, and couldn't wait till the bangs grew long enough to reach the ponytail.

I personally cannot abide women who fuss with their hair, so that style drives me up a wall. If G-d had meant you to fuss with your hair all day, He'd have given you a little hand on your face to do the honors.

I love the way they look, but they drive me craaaazy! I have 2 sheitels like that. I'm wearing one now. I wish I had a bobby pin!

my shaitel is also with side bangs and here's the trick (I learned from a friend who is a shaitel macher)

at night when you put your shaitel back on the head, take two bobby pins and:
brush your side bangs and bobby pin it twirled up (ooh, this is hard to explain with out showing) but basicly like a kokosh cake till its all twirled.

do it to both sides.

when you get up and take the bobby pins out and brush it it'll fall so nicely and away from the face... it'll stay nice for a long time. if you wear your shaitel all day it'll probably stay pretty and in it's place, away from your face, for most of the day...

I wear a fall to work for that very reason. I can't handle the bangs in my face! I can't type and swipe and the same time!

I love side bangs. But I certainly put in bobby pins a lot of times. Like elcg said you can't type and swipe at once Tongue Out

I also love the side bangs. they look great when my hair is blown out. but 95% of the time (maybe more) they're bobby pinned to the top of my head.

I have them too, looks really nice and s-exy.

Here's my tip to keep 'em swept away...

At night comb bang to the side and pin it with a T-pin, use 1 or 2, just dont exaggerate the push back, to it gently, should work!
