I want to make hungarian paprika mashed potatoes but I don't know what to serve with it. I need something high protein and legume free. What goes with it?

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't the obvious choice be Hungarian chicken paprikash?

I don't know anything about Hungarian food. How do you make that?

PAPRIKASH INGREDIENTS
12 pieces chicken legs and thighs
2 tsp paprika (Hungarian paprika is best)
2 red bell peppers, seeded
4 cloves fresh garlic
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
2 onions peeled and sliced
Salt and black pepper to taste
YOU WILL ALSO NEED
Large sauce pot,
Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika and brown off in oil. Remove from pot
Fry onions, garlic, in remaining oil and fat. Add bell peppers and more seasonings to taste. When onions are soft return chicken to pot and fill 1/4 to half way up with water. Bring to boil and then reduce flame, cover and cook until chicken is soft.
You could cook the potatoes with the chicken and mash them with some of the sauce.

You can also leave out the peppers and cook it all at once, put potatoes under the chicken. Yummy!
