I'm looking for matching nice clothes (just 1 outfit each) for my kids 6 yr old girl and 4 yr old boy. I dont want the expensive Jewish stores. Even if one wears solid and the other a pattern thats fine...any ideas?
Not dressy for a wedding but not very casual...I guess maybe shabbos (for the summer)

Chain stores often have colors for the season that are used across different sizes and for boys/girls. I guess they make the dyes in bulk. Like, one year all the boys' vests used purple and green, and the girls dresses used the same shades, and by the next year, they were on to another color scheme.
Usually it's easiest to find these "dressy collections" around Xmas and Easter -- I've seen stuff at Target, Children's Place, Kohls, etc.

if we were to make a Summer bris...do you think my DS (age 4) can wear a polo shirt with shorts(and sandals)? Does it matter solid polo or stripes? I live in NY in a large community(not like an OOT type)!

Check out Gymboree, childrens place, Crazy 8 and the other stores. Their Easter stuff typically have family styles where there are colors that are used for all ages and genders, the easter stuff is now mixed in so you have to look for it, they have fourth of July family styles, but I don't think that is what you are looking for.
