Hi, I am trying to make a decision about infant seats. These 2 are the ones I keep hearing about, any information would be helpful. If there is another good infant seat that is worth looking into please post as well. Tia

The graco snugride 22 is not really suitable for newborns, so if you do get a graco go for a 30 or 35. It may be easier to find strollers that are compatible with graco than with maxi cosi, if you care about that.

As far as I know the maxi cosi is the lightest infant car seat, this makes a big difference when your baby starts getting heavier.

Maxi Cosi all the way.
So much lighter, nicer looking, sleeker and more modern than the graco.

I was debating between the maxi cosi and the Chicco keyfit 30. I personally like the look of the maxi cosi better, but the chicco just rated number one in consumer reports for safety, and also, Chicco has it's own snap and go that the car seat clicks right into. The maxi cosi doesn't, and the universal snap and go scares me cuz the car seats don't click in... So I got the Chicco!!! Good luck!
