When I had sprint I could text to 9999, block 1234-0 (the number I didn't want should text me)
now I have Verizon and that doesn't seem to work. I'm desperate to block a harrasing number...please help me.

Hello,
Verizon allows you to block 5 numbers for 90 days. You need to log into your online account (My Verizon), activate and enter the numbers or you can call customer service and have them do it for you. Good luck!

If you have a smartphone, you can download an app like Mr. Number and that allows you to block numbers.

if you're on an iphone, you can block the # forever. I can help walk you through this when I'm near my phone, or you can find on apple support.

I don't know how to do it on android, but I'm sure there's a way. I'd google "how to block a number on android" and see where info is.

On android on the screen where the number is it will say add to contact go to the bottom left button for settings and you can block it. This is on my galaxy 3.

I tried but had no blocking options. Only on watsapp which I did already.

There are apps that can do it. Look at Mr. Number or Call Control Call Blocker.
