What's everyone doing to celebrate ל"ג בעומר?

My DH went to Meron. He'll be back early tomorrow morning.

Later, Sunday afternoon, maybe we'll make a BBQ.

Went to a big bonfire tonight in my community- the whoooooooooooole community was there, nice music, dancing, upsherins, free food... Was very fun... but definitely didn't help my sore throat.

My dh went too, not sure when he will be back, some time tom. We also planned on having a bbq tomorrow evening.
Is that the thing on lag b'omer- to have a bbq?

We went to a medurah for a family on the Yishuv (well, technically outside the Yishuv) whose being harrassed by the gov't....very nice...lots of fun and a bbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggg bonfire.

We have some nice bonfires by us but my dd has fever so I did not want to go out with her

Never...have you been? I generally would want to stay on the Yishuv but maybe we could try it one year.

Which yeshuv do you live in?

I went two years ago, before the kids came into the world, it was amazingly beautiful! Now I wouldn't go, it is too crazy to go with small children.
Thousands of people come from all over.

I've been here longer than you and still don't know the country well..but that is me, geographically challenged. Never ask me for directions. You'll end up in Canada (standard line)

anyway, Kochav Yaakov is north east of Jerusalem; about 20 minutes 1/2 by car. We are sister city to Tel Tzion, near Ofra, Adam, Beit El...

I'm in C.H. so we have the show, parade, and sreet fair by day. I have a wedding in the afternoon....there are 6 weddings here tomorrow and DD has one in the late afternoon too.

There are shows and bonfires going on tonite but I can't do everything!
