We might have had a similar thread in the past, but not recently.

They sell them in all of the hosiery stores, but I think it's cheapest (3 pairs for $15) at Century 21. I like to stock up when I go to NY. I find that they last a long time without running.
Levante also makes good control tops with reinforced toes. They are also good if you like some support in the legs (like if you stand a lot). They also run in the $6 range per pair and last a long time. You can find them at all the hiemishe stores too.

what do u mean that they last a long time ?, I often call them disposables bc I cant seem to get more than 1 or 2 wear out of a pair of sheer stockings, and yes its an aweful lot of money, if u wear stockings every day.

I found that no matter the brand, they are basically disposable. No matter what I do I manage to rip them sometimes even before I get to wear them.

Berkshire look the best but they rip so easily because there is no lycra in them. I buy them only for Shabbos, Yom Tov & weddings. The rest of the time I wear Hanes.

Pantyhose - Berkshire Silky Sheer Control Top
Silky, sheer lycra leg, control top, reinforced toe soft, smooth, silky sheer. A fit that's pure wonderful
panty: 82% nylon - 18% double covered lycra for better control
leg: 87% nylon 13% lycra
crotch: 55% cotton 45% nylon
Anyhow, which Hanes?
