The foil pans sold in bulk at Costco: They don't have a hechsher, but have a plain letter k on the label.
Anyone know the status of their kashrus?

They're foil pans. What could be wrong with them?!
My understanding with foil pans is that if they have a hechsher they do not need to be toiveled, but can be used over and over anyway. I throw out my foil pans when I'm done with them, so that is no concern to me.
I use the costco pans all the time. (But I never noticed a K so it could be we have different pans in our different costcos.)
UPDATE: Just googled it and it looks like pans can have a somewhat questionable status without hashgacha. I guess we'll be talking to our rav about this...

The issue is not whether they need to be toiveled or not (they do if you use them more then one time) it's about the products and chemicals used in manufacturing. Sometimes companies use animal bi-products in assembly line, lard is a lubricant typical in this- that's why I am asking if anyone knows the status of the hefty foil costco pans
