anyone have recipe for a soup I can eat for lunch. im looking for something thats filling and a complete meal. I dont want to have to have bread with it.... but it also has to be healthy and affordable... I know its a lot of requirements but if anyone has.. please share!!!

I am sure you can omit the spinach if you have to.
Or any heart bean soup that has either barley, pasta or rice in it.

I sometimes put oatmeal in soup (plain, of course) to give it some thickness. Flavor is delicious, and hardly expensive.

Our favorites are pea soup with lots of veggies, barley, and potatoes as well as minestrone soup with chopped meat and pasta.
