I am looking to go back to work after a hiatus of many years. I have been asked for references. Two businesses are no longer around. My last place of employment is sill around, I think, but I left 8 years ago. I am in the process of trying to contact that boss.
What are my other options? They read my resume and know that I havent worked in years, but they still want some references. I really want that job.
